With this passion that I call "borrow the colors of life and immortalize them" I began my art journey at 15 years of age: I was assigned to portray St. Nicholas, but a twist of fate made me end up as a photographer. A polariod was my partner for 24 days.
When I was studying social communication at the university I was part of the last group that studied the subject of Photography, since they removed it from the academic load. It was my first contact with concepts such as depth of field, diaphragm, ISO, ASA. All this made my interest wake up and grow by the "art of capturing and immortalizing a moment."
I was enrolled in an intership at Diario Colatino, a 125 year old newspaper. Because of my willingness and thirst to learn. I worked as a reporter and as a photographer. I started with sections like sports and shows, and then went to the daily news. Then I switched jobs, I began working for the “MAS” newspaper.
About eight years ago I started working at the local newspaper "La Prensa Gráfica" in the department of specialized magazines. There I took the camera again, and continue to “shoot”. I learned new concepts in the field of fashion and commercial photography. I continued with my self-taught learning, now taking advantage of the technological tools.
For two and a half years my work life took a turn. I switched to Channel 21, supporting news production work.
In conclusion, with this art I have learned to take advantage of the moments that reality gives me; since, in a few seconds, you can capture images that are silent witnesses for a lifetime.
