| Mariela Ortez was born in San Salvador in 1989, she is majoring in Plastic Arts, painting option at the University of El Salvador, She started studying art when enrolled in the drawing and painting diploma program at the National Center of Arts (CENAR). She has participated in collective exhibitions in El Salvador and Guatemala and is part of the ARFCO (Artists Without Collective Borders) collective, taking place in western Guatemala, in the cities of Mazatenango, Totonicapán and Quetzaltenango.
She was awarded First place, Talent CENAR 2016 ”.
